Stella Bass is a classically-trained singer and musician, whose versatile repertoire crosses over classical, jazz and popular music. She has performed in theatres and venues all over Ireland, as well as in the UK, France, Austria and Greece, and has TV/radio credits including "The Late Late Show", "Ireland AM", "Open House", "Let Me Entertain You" and "Theatre Nights". A BSc graduate of UCD, Stella is also an accomplished musician. She completed her music diploma in 2000, and won a High Achiever Award in singing in the Royal Irish Academy of Music in 2006. As well as performing, she teaches singing and piano in her native Dublin and was host and compere for Meath’s Got Talent, which culminated in January 09. She performed for the winter 08/09 season in Austria, and on her return, was booked to play in Croke Park for the recent Leinster v Munster Heineken Cup semi-final.

In addition to being a church soloist, Stella sings with the accomplished jazz trio "Sweet & Lowdown" – who are constantly in demand for high-end corporate events such as the RBS Six Nations, the Curragh Races and the Ryder Cup, and with "Rewind" - the ultimate evening party band who in 2007 headlined the "Christmas at the RDS" party season, as well as playing the prestigious New Year's Eve 2007 Ball in Fitzpatrick's Castle, Killiney, having been invited back for a second year running. Christmas 2008 saw Rewind play the prestigious Jurys Hotel and the Berkeley Court Hotel (now D4 Hotel Group) Christmas Cabaret from the end of November through December.

Last November Stella undertook her first one-woman show. Schall und Rauch” (Sound and Smoke) which paid tribute to the music and cabaret of the inter-war Berlin period. The show is due to tour in 2009 having opened to rave reviews, including that of eminent Irish Senator and Joycean Scholar David Norris:

I so much enjoyed that wonderful evening of cabaret in the Cobalt Cafe and as I remarked on the night I have been lucky enough to hear Marlene Dietrich herself singing Lili Marlene and Louis Armstrong singing Mack the Knife and your performance could stand honourable with either of these two great artists. Well done. Bravo. I shall watch this space for your further meteoric rise in showbiz”.
